JD Phifer LLC was founded after the owner retired from one of the largest and most respected construction companies in the United States, where he served as a Superintendent and Safety Manager for over 30 years.
During his career, he helped oversee major commercial developments including:

Educational facilities and school construction
Hospitality and restaurant developments
These projects required strict schedule management, multi-trade coordination, safety enforcement, code compliance, and quality control systems.
After retirement, friends began asking him to review residential contractor work and project bids. What he discovered was concerning - poor workmanship, lack of planning, unclear scopes, and minimal oversight. Homeowners were investing significant money yet receiving substandard results.
